FEATURED WORK ON PLEXI

Acrylics and ink on plexiglass, mounted on a white wooden board.

At first glance, the viewer might be drawn to the unique presentation of the artwork - the plexiglass surface delicately suspended in front of a wooden board by sleek metal bolts. This innovative mounting technique creates an intriguing sense of depth and dimension, as light and shadow interact with the space between the plexiglass and the board, casting subtle reflections and adding a three-dimensional appeal to the artwork.

Upon closer inspection, the viewer is immersed in a multi-layered world depicted within the painting itself. This piece epitomizes modern artistry, seamlessly merging form and dimension while honoring the essence of traditional painting using concept "transparency".

My fascination with transparency is evident through the use of delicate layers of paint, blending older and newer elements to create a mesmerizing visual tapestry on a transparent canvas. A series of figures and forms are woven into the transparent layers, and seem to emerge and recede into the background, inviting the viewer to explore the intricacies of the scene.

The multi-layered background adds depth and complexity to the composition, with each layer offering a unique perspective or narrative element. Vivid colors and brushstrokes create a sense of movement and energy throughout the artwork, while subtle details and textures add depth and visual interest.

I invite the viewer to delve into a narrative of innovation and transformation, prompting them to reflect on the various complex aspects of our ever-evolving world.
